Dr Pan Qianqian co-publishes a journal article in the Computers in Human Behaviour journal
Dr Pan Qianqian, Education Research Scientist at the Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practice (CRPP), co-wrote a journal article titled “Protective factors contributing to adolescents’ multifaceted digital resilience for their wellbeing: A socio-ecological perspective” in the Computers in Human Behaviour journal. The article explores protective factors enhancing digital resilience from a socio-ecological perspective to boost adolescents’ wellbeing based on the data collected from 1,882 parent-child pairs and 30 school ICT coordinators in 30 Hong Kong secondary schools between July and September 2022. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening this resilience through socio-ecological factors, including individual digital literacy, the quality of parent-child relationships, and the implementation of digital literacy curricula at the school level.
