Discover the Beauty of Mandai Boardwalk

The Lifelong Learning Club’s Monthly Hiking event for this month took participants on a rejuvenating journey along the Mandai Boardwalk, a peaceful 3.3 km elevated trail nestled around River Wonders and the Singapore Zoo.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Upper Seletar Reservoir and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, members immersed themselves in a calm and refreshing afternoon walk filled with birdsong, gentle breezes, and scenic lake views.

Along the way, hikers paused at themed rest points such as Tree Frog’s Hangout, Lizard’s Lounge, and Eagle’s Perch, each offering panoramic views and quiet moments for reflection. The accessible boardwalk designed for all ages and mobility levels provided an inclusive and relaxing experience for everyone.

The outing encouraged participants to reconnect with nature, recharge the mind, and strengthen community bonds through shared exploration and appreciation of Singapore’s green spaces.
