EEE Graduate Research Showcase

The EEE Graduate Research Showcase was held on 28th Feb, organized by the NTU EEE Graduate Students club. The annual event welcomes students, staff, research groups, corporate labs, and industries to showcase their exciting research work and disseminate knowledge among colleagues. The event aims to promote the culture of sharing one’s ongoing research, challenges that the research team faced and collaboration, amongst EEE graduate students. The event is only the 4th edition in its history.


The program for the showcase consisted of 10 shortlisted three-minute thesis presentations, two keynote speeches by Mr. Kuah Ann Tat, Senior Director, Rohde & Schwarz Asia, and by Dr. Hu Xiaolei, co-founder of Xnergy Autonomous Power Technologies, and an NTU EEE alumni. There were also a total of 18 graduate students’ research poster presentations and a networking session for students and 15 participating companies. 12 industry partners were also invited to present, namely were Qualcomm, MediaTek Singapore Pte Ltd, Continental Automotive Singapore, Meridian Innovation, STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, SingPilot Pte Ltd, GlobalFoundries Singapore Pte Ltd, Analog Device International, Nuvoton Technology Singapore Pte Ltd, Silicon Labs, D’crypt Pte. Ltd and VFlowTech. The morning session of the Graduate Research Showcase comprising the keynote speeches and 3MT presentations were organized in Hybrid Mode (partially at Tan Chin Tuan Lecture Theatre and Live Streamed via Zoom) and the afternoon session was fully online.

There were a total of 8 prizes given away in total, 4 each for 3MT and Poster Presentation Contests for the First, Second, Third prizes and Audience Choice award that was voted on by the audience.
