AI in Mathematics Education: Reality and Possibility
As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the ways we live, work, learn, and teach, mathematics educators are increasingly called to engage thoughtfully with both its opportunities and its challenges. MTC2026 provides a vibrant platform for teachers, school leaders, researchers, and practitioners to reflect on how AI is already influencing mathematics classrooms — and how it may open new possibilities for teaching, learning, assessment, and professional practice.
We are deeply honoured to welcome Professor Chang Chew Hung, Dean of the Office of Graduate Studies and Professional Learning (GPL) at NIE, as our Guest-of-Honour.
MTC2026 is jointly organised by the Association of Mathematics Educators and the Mathematics & Mathematics Education Department at NIE. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the MTC2026 Organising Committee and our MME colleagues for their dedication in curating a rich and engaging programme for all participants.
