Join us on 22 January 2024 where Ms Monika Kamola will be presenting on how Digital Competence in Early Childhood Teacher Education with Focus on Enriching and Supporting Children’s Play with Coding Toys (DiCoTe) aims to increase Norwegian ECTE teachers’ and students’ professional digital competence by developing resources and implementing them in Norwegian ECTE. She will also share high-quality strategies for supporting children’s problem-solving skills and her findings on ECEC teachers' perspectives on their pedagogical use of coding toys. She will also present her plans about conducting a cross-national comparison of the frameworks for ECEC in Norway and Singapore, with a focus on exploring digital practices and use of information and communication technology.
