Applicants’ research proposals should be aligned with LKCMedicine’s research programmes in Neuroscience & Mental Health, Nutrition, Metabolism & Health, Population & Global Health, Respiratory & Infectious Diseases, Skin Disease & Wound Repair, Developmental Biology & Regenerative Medicine, Data Science and Microbiome Medicine.
To determine your PhD research project, check if your selected PhD supervisor from any of the research programmes listed has a research project that aligns with your research interest. Alternatively, you could propose your own research project to your selected PhD supervisor.
For both options, you are required to procure an agreement for PhD supervision from your selected PhD supervisor BEFORE submitting your online application for the PhD programme.
Applicants who have chosen research projects with a PhD co-supervisor from an overseas university, will need to spend between 12 and 18 months at that university during the second and third year of candidature. The School will cover certain expenses associated with the attachment (terms and conditions apply).
