The world is facing many health challenges, from the rise of chronic illnesses and cancer to emerging infectious diseases and even the impact of climate change on health. To tackle these problems, LKCMedicine’s researchers, students, faculty and clinician-scientists are solving medical mysteries, developing new paradigms and enabling more effective cures.

Through our research programmes, which include global and population health, neuroscience and mental health, cancer discovery and regenerative medicine, respiratory and infectious disease, and metabolic, skin and microbiome health, we are addressing some of the world’s most pressing healthcare issues, with a strong focus on Asian populations and importantly Singaporeans. As we make progress, we are embracing technological advances such as artificial intelligence and fresh patient care approaches including precision medicine to confront the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges.
