House System
LKCMedicine House System
We have created a comprehensive House System that allocates personal Tutors to individual students for guidance and mentorship, with the aim of giving students maximum opportunity to succeed in the MBBS programme. The LKCMedicine Houses are named after luminary figures that have impacted the history and profession of medicine, so as to inspire students in their chosen profession. Students are assigned to one of five Houses at the start of their studies and remain in the same House throughout their period of study at LKCMedicine. Students and their Tutors meet regularly as a group and also in one-on-one meetings.
House Tutors are LKCMedicine faculty committed to helping students succeed in the MBBS programme. Students can discuss their wellbeing and academic progress with House Tutors, while building relationships with fellow students in the same House. Tutors guide students to develop their understanding of higher education, the curriculum, the demands of the medical profession and the satisfaction of achieving their academic, personal and professional goals.
