Tackling Skin Conditions Prevalent in Asia
We study how skin diseases and body's responses to skin disorders can be better understood and treated, so as to develop innovative therapies.
Being based in Singapore, we focus on skin conditions that are common in Asia - acne, atopic dermatitis, pigmentary disorders, chronic wounds, and signs of aging.
We work closely with our strategic partners, including the Skin Research Institute of Singapore, National Healthcare Group Hospitals, specifically National Skin Centre, A*STAR Skin Labs, and Asian Skin Biobank to drive impactful advances in skin research

Our Impact
Improving Skin Health and Preventing Disability Through Innovative Research and Translation
Our scientists and clinicians have developed new skin therapeutics, including first of its kind RNA-based scar prevention microneedle patch and antibiotic-free solutions for managing skin conditions caused by bacteria such as body odour and acne inflammation.
Our scientists are members of a large, multidisciplinary research initiative to understand how Asian skin ages and prevent the problems that arise from it.
We want our science to have real-life impact and improve skin health for as many people as possible.
