Singaporeans are largely uninformed about what causes gout and that it requires long term medication to effectively control the disease. In Feb, four final-year NTU undergraduate students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information embarked on a campaign called “Oh My Gout!”, which seeks to educate the public on the condition. The team interviewed doctors and the National Arthritis Foundation to shed light on the mysteries of the disease and has come up with the website ohmygout.com
