NCPA Alumni Engagement Events in Beijing and Singapore Successfully Concluded

In October 2025, the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), together with the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA), held a series of alumni engagement events in Singapore and Beijing, strengthening ties with its global alumni community.

On 10 October, CoHASS hosted the Alumni Welcome Dinner in Singapore, welcoming Professor Jon Wilson, the newly appointed Dean of CoHASS. Alumni from ADM, SoH, SSS, and WKWSCI, along with NCPA alumni representatives, gathered for the occasion. Professor Wilson shared his vision for the College and expressed appreciation for alumni support, while school chairs and Associate Professor Wang Jue, Director of NCPA, provided updates on recent developments.

In Beijing, NCPA hosted an alumni dinner on 15 October under the theme “Fellowship and Communication,” attended by over 50 alumni from across China, including senior Lien Fellows, visiting professors, and recent graduates. This was followed by Lien Fellows’ Night 2025 on 18 October, where Professor Liu Hong delivered the welcome address. During the visit, Professor Liu also met with senior leaders Professor Dong Zhiyong from Peking University to discuss NCPA’s future development and strategic direction.

NTU’s annual Alumni Homecoming Day was also held in October, drawing more than 1,000 alumni from around the world back to campus. Led by Deputy Director Dr Wang Hang, the NCPA alumni table tennis team participated in the Homecoming Day tournament, with several NCPA doubles teams achieving outstanding results, placing first, second, and fourth.

Spanning cities from Beijing and Chongqing to Singapore, these alumni engagement initiatives reflect NCPA’s continued commitment to strengthening its alumni network, fostering collaboration, and building lasting connections across borders.
