SSS Alumnus Featured in Berita Harian for Community Leadership and Youth Mentoring

The School of Social Sciences is proud to celebrate our alumnus, Haikal Afiq Mohd Rizal, who graduated with a degree in Sociology and a second major in PPGA, and was recently featured in Berita Harian (29 December 2025) for his outstanding contributions to community service and youth development.

As Constituency Manager at Siglap Community Club, Haikal oversees volunteers and grassroots organisations under the Residents’ Network at Limau Estate and Eastwood Ria. He also leads social activities and team development for male youths through the Mendaki Peer Club Community Programme in Tampines, and will continue in a leadership role with the Tampines Kelab Mendaki Programme next year.

Haikal’s dedication exemplifies the values of SSS alumni, turning learning into meaningful action beyond the classroom. We are proud to see our graduates making a positive impact in their communities.
