As 2025 drew to a close, LKCMedicine stood proud on an extraordinary run of accolades that reflects its commitment not only to innovative medical education and groundbreaking research, but also to operational excellence and community impact. From national recognition in management excellence to professional honours in communications, the School’s Corporate Services teams have demonstrated strategic leadership, creativity, and unwavering dedication to people and purpose.

Management Excellence Recognised at Singapore Business Review Awards

In November 2025, the Corporate Services Division received major accolades at the Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Awards. The division led by Chief Operating Officer Dr Serene Ng was awarded Team of the Year (Education sector), recognising its collaborative approach to innovation, sustainability, and workplace wellbeing.

 In addition, the School’s LKCMedicine Cares initiative was honoured with Employee Engagement of the Year (Education sector), highlighting its success in fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace culture that has helped staff thrive professionally and personally, including through community engagement efforts outside of the School.

Communications Team Triumphs in Singapore and Beyond

In the same month, LKCMedicine’s Communications & Outreach team achieved a landmark double milestone, earning honours at regional and national award events - a testament to the team’s strategic vision, creative excellence, and consistent delivery of impact.

At the Transform Awards Asia 2025, LKCMedicine secured two prestigious awards for its brand evolution journey:

  • Gold – Best Implementation of a Brand Development Project, recognising LKCMedicine’s phased and thoughtfully executed rebranding campaign;
  • Silver – Best Visual Identity (Education sector), celebrating the creativity, vibrancy and coherence of the School’s refreshed visual identity within a highly competitive education landscape.

These wins automatically qualify LKCMedicine for the Transform Diamond Awards 2026 (international), the highest tier of recognition in the Transform Awards programme.

Complementing this regional success, the Communications & Outreach team was also recognised closer to home at the IPRS PRISM Awards 2025, where it received a Merit Award for Outstanding In-House Communications Team. This recognition affirms the team’s excellence in strategic communications, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement, and underscores its role in elevating LKCMedicine’s profile and reputation across diverse audiences.

The Bigger Picture: A Year of Corporate Service Distinction

These recent honours cap what has been a remarkable year for LKCMedicine’s Corporate Services — with achievements across sustainability, communications, tech innovation and staff engagement:

  • Eco-Office 4-Leaves Award (Elite) (March 2025) – Conferred by the Singapore Environment Council, this recognition highlights the division’s sustainability leadership in waste reduction, green procurement, and staff engagement in eco-initiatives.
  • CASE Circle of Excellence – Best of Asia-Pacific (Special Events) (May 2025) - Awarded for the Art & Science of Medicine Festival 2023, this regional accolade underscores the Communications team’s creativity and impact in public engagement.
  • OpenGov Asia Recognition of Excellence (June 2025) – The IT Systems & Services team was recognised for digital innovations that enhanced hybrid learning and operational efficiency across campus facilities.

 “Beyond our commitment to organisational excellence, these achievements are the result of our collective mindset to push boundaries and set new standards. We continuously improve because we do not view excellence and innovation as milestones, but as part of our daily culture,” said LKCMedicine Chief Operating Officer Dr Serene Ng.

Looking Ahead: A Culture of Excellence

As LKCMedicine looks back on 2025, the message is clear - these awards are not just trophies on a shelf; they reflect a culture that values people, purpose and performance. The School is focused to build on these successes with the belief that progress is built on collaboration, innovation, and service.
