Wireless Power Transfer: A Paradigm Shift for the Next Generation

In less than 10 months after starting their S$1 million A*STAR Research wireless power project, Prof Ron Hui and his team have filed two patent applications and published several Tier-1 papers. The project has gained the attention of many. and their paper, “Wireless Power Transfer: A Paradigm Shift for the Next Generation” was recently accepted and uploaded by the IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics in Power Electronics.

IEEE Spectrum, the world's leading engineering and scientific magazine and read by over 300,000 engineers worldwide, calls the project "fascinating." The magazine published a story to highlight the project: https://lnkd.in/ddw-PfZk Prof Hui has been invited by the Chairman of the 2023 IEEE Wireless Power Transfer Conference and Exposition, Prof. Regan Zane, to give a keynote speech in June in San Diego. The conference is the largest wireless power conference in the world with a large industry presence. The 2023 Chairman of the IEEE Future Energy Electronics Conference, Prof. Dylan Lu, has also invited Prof Hui to give a keynote speech in Sydney in November.
