Assoc Prof Christopher Lee and Assoc Prof Tang Yi Appointed SP Group Endowed Associate Professors
.The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University is pleased to announce the appointment of Assoc Prof Christopher Lee and Assoc Prof Tang Yi as SP Group Endowed Associate Professors for a five-year term from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2031.
The SP Group Endowed Associate Professorship reflects the strong and enduring partnership between NTU EEE and SP Group in advancing research excellence, innovation, and talent development in areas critical to Singapore’s energy future.
Through this collaboration, NTU and SP Group continue to strengthen capabilities in power engineering, electrification, and emerging energy technologies that support sustainable development and resilient infrastructure. The appointments also underscore the importance of academia–industry partnerships in addressing evolving challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.
The appointments of Assoc Prof Christopher Lee and Assoc Prof Tang Yi recognise their contributions in research, education, and innovation, as well as their potential to further deepen impactful collaborations with industry.

Assoc Prof Christopher Lee shared:

Assoc Prof Tang Yi shared:
