The other two Top 8 teams were Team deStigma, comprising Lai Fu Jun (
#NTUIEM), Frederik Hanson and Hardik Madan (
#NTUEEE) and Melise Poon (CS); and Team naVIgaSION, comprising Ding Man and Zhang Wei (
#NTUIEM), Shulin (
#NTUEEE) and Haoxuan (CS). Students shared their original concepts by pitching solutions that "tackled a local or global issue, utilization of Azure technology, commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, commercial
viability of their business concept, and potential for their project to drive impact."
Three NTUEEE-linked teams made the Top 8 out of the 48 elite student teams from all over the world
at the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2023 World Finals. Guo Chenjun (#NTUIEM), Wei Yao and Wenyu (DSAI) of Team AlbaCare were also the Asian winner in the Lifestyle Category and walked away with USD2,5000 and Azure credits from Microsoft Founders Hub.
