Outbound Exchange Matters

You are highly encouraged to apply during Round 1 of the application period to stand a higher chance to secure your preferred exchange destination/university.

Visit GEM Explorer for more details.

If you course-match courses offered by other schools and did not receive any updates, contact the offering school's exchange coordinator for advice. For the list of the exchange coordinators, please refer to the Global Education and Mobility tab under your student intranet, "GEM Explorer > OGEM > Exchange Coordinators".

All course credits taken during exchange are to be transferred back (maximum of 20AUs) . Only enrol for courses that have been course-matched and do not register for more than 20AUs worth of courses.

Credits earned from your exchange will count towards the AU requirements for your NTU degree programme and will be reflected on your transcript as Pass/Fail.

  • Ensure that any new courses taken/confirmed are course-matched promptly.

  • Continue to check your NTU Email regularly for important updates.

  • Once all your courses are confirmed, remember to complete your AU Projection.

It is important that your credit transfer is completed promptly after you complete your exchange.

All students are responsible for ordering their host university transcript from the host university. The transcripts should be sent to OGEM. Once OGEM receives your transcript, it will be delivered to One Stop where you will be notified via email to pick it up.
