Celebrating Excellence: Ms Lee Yean Chin Receives the National Day Efficiency Medal

We are proud to announce that Ms Lee Yean Chin, Assistant Director and Academic Lead at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), has been honoured with this year’s National Day Award — the Efficiency Medal. This award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to enhancing productivity and efficiency in their field of work.
The Efficiency Medal is awarded to those who demonstrate not only increased productivity but also a willingness to continuously upgrade their professional skills and exceed expectations.
Ms Lee’s effort to go beyond the call of duty has been instrumental in driving the success of various academic initiatives and operations within SPMS.
This year, NTU celebrates over 130 faculty and staff who have received the National Day Awards, joining a total of more than 7,210 recipients nationwide. These awards honour their dedicated service to the University and their invaluable contributions to Singapore’s progress.
We congratulate Ms Lee Yean Chin on this well-deserved recognition and thank her for her outstanding commitment and exemplary service to the School and the broader community.
