SPMS Visiting Professor Scheme
Overview
The SPMS Visiting Professor Scheme invites distinguished academics from overseas universities or research institutions to contribute to the School’s research and teaching mission. Visiting Professors engage with SPMS faculty and students through collaborative research, seminars, workshop and lectures.
Application
The application portal is open throughout the year. As a general guideline, applicants are encouraged to apply at least six months before the intended start of the visit.
Interested applicants are encouraged to first contact a potential SPMS collaborator from the Division of Mathematical Sciences or the Division of Physics and Applied Physics to discuss alignment and proposed activities.
Required Documents
Please prepare and submit the following:
- CV
- Proposed duration of visit
- Brief description of intended contributions and research areas
- Details of any preliminary discussions with an SPMS faculty member
