南大中文系
中文系是南洋理工大学人文学院的旗舰学系之一，以中文授课为主，致力于通过全方位的学习与训练，培养双语双文化人才。中文系的主修包括中华文学与文化、中国历史与思想、语言学与汉语语言、华人研究四大组别四大组别, 还有翻译, 与华文创意写作
两个特色副修。中文系继承南洋大学的精神传统，身负承传中华语言文化的任务，既有关心本土的情怀，也有放眼世界的胸襟；有继承传统的使命，也有创造新境的志向。
南大中文系自2004年创立之始不但获得大学的大力支持，并受到社会各界的鼎力支持，获得多项赞助以设立各种奖助学金，如“李光耀金牌奖”、“上海书局奖助学金”、“中华总商会奖学金”、“雲茂潮中文主修学生奖”、“雲茂潮中文主修金牌奖及书籍奖”、“云龙子毕业论文金牌奖及书籍奖”、“尤今金牌奖”、“尤今华文创意写作奖”等，详情请参见中文系奖学金。
