Nine LKCMedicine alumni who are NHG residents (junior doctors training to be specialists) were recently recognised with the NHG Residency Peer-Teaching Award – a newly launched award given to Medical Officers and Residents who have demonstrated exemplary values by taking the time and effort to teach their peers, contributing to a culture of learning and growth.

This new award joins the NHG Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards, an annual recognition started in 2020, which honours PGY1s Medical Officers and Residents who have displayed outstanding character in their work.

Dr Yang Sin Yee from LKCMedicine alumni also won the prestigious Most Valuable Player Award 2023.

The Awards recognise and celebrate junior doctors who have demonstrated exemplary values, acknowledging residents who have gone beyond the call of duty for their patients and their peers. Awardees were nominated by their colleagues, peers, and senior doctors. The Awards won by LKCMedicine alumni reflect their unwavering dedication and contribution to the medical community.
