International Collaboration

International collaboration is at the heart of MTI’s mission to advance translation studies globally. We actively engage with leading institutions to promote academic exchange and cross-cultural learning.

A recent highlight includes faculty participation in the international “Nanyang Perspectives, Chinese Experiences, and Literary Dissemination” conference hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University in November 2024 — an event that reflects the growing partnership between NTU and SJTU, formalised through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Professors Uganda Kwan, Yeo Min Hui and Sim Wai Chew represented MTI with presentations that showcased our research excellence and deepened institutional ties.
