In a 13-minute live interview, Asst Prof Saifuddin Ahmed from the NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information discussed the dangers of deepfakes, tips on spotting them, and how we can manage this as such technology proliferates. He also shared his thoughts on where Singapore stands in our understanding or proliferation of deepfakes, given that his research published last year found that some Singaporeans reported sharing such content inadvertently.
