Abstract

This will be a series of three lectures on the general theme of Morse theory and quiver varieties. The first two lectures are meant to be expository, and the final lecture will discuss some of my recent work.

Speaker Biography
Graeme first learned about Morse theory from a visiting lecture by Raoul Bott at the University of Melbourne where he studied as an undergraduate. After receiving his PhD from Brown University in 2006, he has held various positions at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Colorado, National University of Singapore and now the University of York.
