Assistant Prof wins Early Career Award in Nanophotonics

Nanyang Assistant Professor Guangwei Hu has been awarded the 2023 Early Career Award in Nanophotonics. The win recognises his significant contributions to hyperbolic polaritonics and twistronics in nanophotonics. The award is given out by the journal Nanophotonics annually to only four early-career researchers and scientists who have made outstanding contributions to advancements in the field of nano-optics and photonics. All submissions are judged by a committee of subject experts from universities such as Stanford and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

"I feel very honored to receive this prestigious scientific award and recognition, which I share with my mentors, collaborators, and my group," he said.
