​NTU EEE team wins Runner-up for Best Paper Award at the IWSDS 2018 conference

An NTU EEE team participated in the Ninth International Workshop on Spoken Dialogue Systems Technology (IWSDS 2018) in Singapore on May 14-16, 2018, and they won Runner-up for the Best Paper Award!

  

The team’s prize-winning paper is titled “Automated Lexical Analysis of Interviews with Schizophrenic Patients”.  The paper’s authors include NTU EEE PhD student Xu Shihao (first author), NTU EEE Assoc Prof Justin Dauwels, Dr. Jimmy Lee from the  Institute of Mental Health Singapore, and other authors (Yang Zixu, Debsubhra Chakraborty, Yasir Tahir, Tomasz Maszczyk, Victoria Chua Yi Han, Daniel Thalmann, Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann and Tan Bhing-Leet).
