WKWSCI Student Jordan Lim Wins Bronze at 2026 Asian University Cup

Fourth-year undergraduate student Jordan Lim from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) recently represented Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Team Singapore at the 2026 Asian University Cup in Hainan, China.
Competing in the U120 Men’s Category, Jordan won Bronze medals in both the Squat and Deadlift events, and placed 3rd overall in the competition. The Asian University Cup brings together student-athletes from across the region, showcasing sporting excellence at the university level.
The competition marked an important milestone in Jordan’s sporting journey, as it was his first time competing on the international stage.
Reflecting on the experience, Jordan shared, “Powerlifting was a sport I turned to as a form of de-stressing amidst the hectic pace of life, which eventually became about discipline, consistency, and pushing beyond my limits. Representing both country and school was beyond memorable, and I am grateful for everyone who supported me throughout the journey. I am proud to have represented both Singapore and NTU at the competition.”
Congratulations to Jordan on this incredible achievement. We are proud to see him represent both the School and Singapore on the international stage.
