For the WKWSCI students’ GOFAR trip, Isabel Kua, a communication studies undergraduate at NTU’s WKWSCI, reported how many Sri Lankan Tamils have juggled blue-collar jobs and trying to preserve their heritage while fitting into German society since fleeing civil war. She also discussed how although antipathy towards former Sri Lankan president Gotabaya Rajapaksa remains high, some say Germany is now home – not Sri Lanka.
