Four senior students from NTU’s WKWSCI surveyed 336 parents of children aged 6 to 12 through online questionnaires and field interviews and they found that only 37.9% of them believed that their children had sufficient financial management knowledge. The four graduating class students initiated the Money Talks project to develop a physical resource package to help parents teach their children some financial management knowledge. Each card also contains interesting activity suggestions and activities to encourage children practice basic financial management habits such as budgeting.
