Money Talks: Undergrads on mission to promote financial literacy in young
The Straits Times, page C2
Financial literacy should be inculcated at a young age, say four undergraduates who felt their own financial education was sorely lacking in their childhood, resulting in a “worrying” propensity to tap and spend through cashless transactions. The four final-year students at NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information launched a financial literacy campaign, Money Talks, to empower parents with such skills early last month. Aside from a survey on parents of children, the group has also produced a Money Talks Kit, a free resource, in consultation with experts from the Institute for Financial Literacy.
