Influence for Impact Fellowship Programme 2026 Welcomes Its Second Cohort of 36 Student Content Creators

The Influence for Impact Fellowship Programme returns for its second edition in 2026, welcoming 36 student content creators. This year's programme attracted strong interest from Southeast Asia, China and India, with over 4,300 applications initiated.

Organised by the Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet (IN-cube) at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, and supported by Temasek Foundation and the NTU CoHASS ACI Mobility Fund, the fellowship aims to equip young creators with the skills, knowledge and connections to make a positive impact through their digital platforms.

The selected fellows represent a diverse group of emerging digital voices, each bringing their own perspectives, experiences and creative approaches to content creation.

The fellowship will begin with online masterclasses, mentorship sessions and industry engagements led by academics, media professionals and experienced content creators. Fellows will explore topics including misinformation, media literacy, ethical content creation, journalism principles and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in the digital landscape.

Their journey will culminate in a week-long immersion in Singapore, featuring industry visits, collaborative workshops and opportunities to engage with professionals across the media and technology sectors. Fellows will also put their learning into practice by developing original projects, drawing on the knowledge and insights gained throughout the programme.

Beyond the sessions and activities, the fellowship is also about building connections. Fellows will get to exchange ideas, share experiences and form friendships with fellow creators from across the region, creating a network that extends beyond the programme itself.

Now in its second year, the Influence for Impact Fellowship Programme continues to grow a regional network of young creators committed to using their platforms responsibly and contributing to a more informed digital environment.
