Celebrating student excellence at WKWSCI Spotlight Awards Night 2026

From outstanding Final Year Projects to inspiring leadership, creativity and service, WKWSCI Spotlight Awards Night 2026 celebrated the students whose ideas, achievements and contributions have made an impact throughout the year. As the School's annual celebration of student excellence, the Spotlight Awards recognise the many ways our students excel, both within and beyond the classroom.

Presented with the support of APRW, the APRW Excellence Awards recognise the most outstanding Final Year Projects across WKWSCI's four academic tracks: Strategic Communication for the Digital Age, Journalism and Media Policies, Broadcast Media and Cinema Studies, and Data Science and Media Studies. The Vanguard Awards celebrate students whose bold ideas and creative thinking have created meaningful impact, while the Spirit Awards recognise those who have made exceptional contributions through leadership, service, sports, the arts or entrepreneurship. 

Our appreciation goes to APRW for its continued support and for recognising the outstanding work of our graduating students. We also thank our alumni judges for generously sharing their time and expertise, and the student organising committee for bringing this year's Spotlight Awards Night to life.
