Lynn Chia, 23, and her fellow undergraduate students Hilary Tan, Nowell Ng and Ho Xin Er at NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, have started a social media movement called The Standby Collective, following Ms Chia's traumatic harassment experiences at age 14 and 18. They hope an increased awareness of the issue will bring about positive change.
