​Survey: Parents are not using car seats for their children

A recent survey with 513 parents by four undergraduates from NTU found out that while 78.4 per cent of parents own child car seats, only 55% use them all the time. Nearly half of those surveyed said their children do not feel comfortable using the car seats, while those who do not own a car said it was difficult to bring the child car seat everywhere. NTU student Gracia Ow commented that this number is shocking as the parents’ action could affect the safety of their children.
