Stranger Danger

The Straits Times, page C1

In a feature about online dangers, a research project conducted by NTU students published in January was mentioned. The survey of 400 Singaporeans aged 13 to 17 found that more than 94 per cent of them have received messages from strangers online, while 91 per cent personally knew people who have received unwanted and inappropriate messages via the Internet. As an extension of the research, the group of NTU students have started a ground-up initiative called Flag, You’re It. The group is holding a free exhibition until Monday. The event involves a series of immersive artworks and 3D installations that allow people to step into the shoes of an online grooming victim.
