A survey by a team of Year 4 undergraduates from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU has found out that young people in Singapore generally show a lack of awareness for stroke and are less likely to think that they are at risk. As such, this group of students developed an online testing tool to assist in the detection and early prevention of stroke. They launched a campaign “Strike Before Stroke” to encourage young people to better understand their health risks and choose healthier lifestyles.
