Four aspiring journalists received SPH scholarships for undergraduate studies, with two going to NUS and another two to NTU – Crystal Heng and Aqil Hamzah. Crystal developed her passion for newswriting as a student correspondent in her time at Hwa Chong Institution. She will be pursuing economics and psychology, while Aqil will be pursuing communications.
