Shin Min Daily News, 4 Feb, page 5
As part of their final-year project, four students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information found that more than half of the residents in Tampines have not had their eyes checked after the age of 40. In a collaboration with the Singapore Optometric Association, they will provide free eye check-ups for 250 residents aged 40 to 60 at Tampines Square this month. The organisers have also organised a series of talks to educate the public on eye diseases.
