Admissions

Our Admissions Committee is committed to forming a diverse cohort that comprises individuals with different academic, professional backgrounds and life experiences. We strongly believe that a student's learning experience is enriched when they leverage on perspectives, experience and network of a highly diverse group of students. Our past and current students include nurses, physiotherapists, medical doctors, social workers, civil servants, lecturers, engineers and professionals from the financial sector.

We strongly encourage anyone who has a passion for working with older people to apply for this programme.

Applicants should possess:

  • ​​​​​​​​a good bachelor’s degree;
  • ​at least 2 years of work experience.

International applicants whose medium of instruction was not in English at the tertiary level should have:

  • ​an IELTS score of 7.0; or
  • TOEFL internet based score of 100 (600 for paper based).
Our programme offers one intake in each year.

1. Application form (completed and signed)
2. Proof of Payment of Application Fee (E-payment acknowledgement email from NTU)
3. One recent passport-sized Photograph
4. Local applicants: Photocopy of NRIC
International applicants: Photocopy of Passport
5. Photocopy of Employment Pass/Work Permit/Dependent's Pass/LTVP, if any
6. Photocopy of the original Degree Scroll(s) and original University Transcript(s) must be in English, otherwise an official English translation must also be provided
7. Photocopy of IELTS / TOEFL (for international applicants graduated from universities with non-English medium of instruction. The result should not be more than 2 years from the issued date of the certificate.)
8. Photocopy of Professional Qualifications/Membership Certificates, if any
9. Documentary Proof of Present and Previous Employment (e.g. letters of appointment and resignation)
10. Two reference letters (e.g. supporting letters from your employers or referees) 


Please take note of the following details:

  • All supporting documents are to be submitted via the online application portal. Alternatively, you may email them to [email protected] by 3 March 2023.
  • The maximum file size per email submission is 15MB.
  • There is no refund for application fee.
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be processed.​
  • Students are required to present original copies of the documents during matriculation.
