Admissions

We are committed to forming a diverse cohort of individuals with different academic and professional backgrounds, as well as varied life experiences. We believe that your learning is enriched when you can draw on the perspectives, experience and networks of a highly diverse group of classmates. Our past and current students include nurses, physiotherapists, medical doctors, social workers, civil servants, lecturers, engineers and professionals from the financial sector.

    Applicants should possess:

    • ​​​​​​​​a good bachelor’s degree; and
    • a passion for working with older people or on ageing-related matters

    International applicants whose medium of instruction was not in English at the tertiary level should have:

    • TOEFL iBT
      • For exams taken before 21 January 2026: Minimum total score: 85
      • For exams taken on or after 21 January 2026: Minimum total score: 4.5
    • IELTS
      • Minimum total score: 6.0

    The above are minimum admission requirements. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee admission, as selection is competitive.

    Our programme offers one intake in each year.

    Documents Required

    Do ensure that you have the following documents ready when submitting your online application.

    1. Application form (completed and signed)
    2.Personal Statement (not more than 500 words)
    3. One recent passport-sized Photograph
    4. Local applicants: Photocopy of NRIC
    International applicants: Photocopy of Passport
    5. Photocopy of Employment Pass/Work Permit/Dependent's Pass/LTVP, if any
    6. Photocopy of the original Degree Scroll(s) and original University Transcript(s) must be in English.
    Otherwise, an official English translation must be provided.
    7. Photocopy of IELTS / TOEFL (for international applicants graduated from universities with non-English medium of instruction. The result should not be more than 2 years from the issued date of the certificate.)
    8. Photocopy of Professional Qualifications/Membership Certificates, if any
    9.Final-year students must provide a letter of certification from the university indicating the anticipated completion date of their studies.
    10.Two reference letters (e.g. supporting letters from your employers or referees)

    • There is no refund for application fee.
