Each year, SSS@NTU recognises its highest-performing students through the Dean’s List and prestigious Book Prizes. These accolades reflect not just academic excellence, but also discipline, resilience and a commitment to learning at the highest standards.

"Honoured to have been awarded Best Presenter and the Most Promising Leader Award among 72 students at the NTU PEAK Leadership Programme.

If I had to describe NTU PEAK in three words: Intensive. Experiential. Transformational.

For one month, we worked closely with industry partners, including TEAM LEWIS, UOB, FedEx, A*STAR Future of Manufacturing, Mediacorp Pte Ltd, and PLC AUTOMATION GROUP to solve real-world challenges. I had the opportunity to work with TEAM LEWIS, tackling a problem centred on consumer concerns and brand perception for a global logistics company, particularly in the context of sustainability.

What made the experience powerful was that it wasn’t theoretical. It was deeply experiential. We engaged directly with industry stakeholders, conducted site visits, and built solutions grounded in real operational and market realities. The ideas developed weren’t just presentations; they were engineered with implementation in mind.

The competition between teams was fierce, and presenting our solutions to C-suite leaders pushed us to sharpen our thinking, storytelling, and clarity. One principle guided our team throughout the programme: If someone doesn’t understand the idea in five minutes, they won’t understand it in fifty.

But the most valuable part of PEAK was the people. Over the month, our team worked across disciplines, perspectives, and skillsets. Through tools like the Gallup Strengths assessment, we learned to identify our individual strengths and combine them to create something stronger collectively.

You enter PEAK as one person and leave with a broader perspective, stronger judgment, and a clearer understanding of how to contribute meaningfully to the industry.

A big thank you to CAO, especially Clara Au, for creating such an impactful programme, and to TEAM LEWIS, especially Cris Xiong, Chris Ong, and design consultant Sara, for their guidance throughout the project. I would also like to thank my incredible team, Mehul Modi, Ru Ting Ho, Josh Daniel Cua, Celeste Lim, and Yongqi Huang, for your incredible support, effort, and input in making this a memorable NTU PEAK.

Our Psychology students didn’t just make the podium at the Criminal Behavioural Analysis Competition (CBAC) 2026….they claimed the Champion title in the University Category!

Psychology Students Achieve Runner-Up Finish in University Category at CBAC 2026

Huge congratulations to our Psychology students for taking Runner-Up in the University Category at CBAC 2026!

From analysing fictional crime cases and developing behavioural profiles to presenting their findings at the final case conference, the team put classroom learning into action…all while juggling internships. 💪

Here’s some information on CBAC. The Criminal Behavioural Analysis Competition (CBAC) is a crime-solving and profiling event in Singapore organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC), and the Singapore Police Force (SPF).

Databusters 2026

500+ participants. 130 teams. One powerful idea — that data shapes real economic decisions.

Databusters marked the first-ever inter-school datathon and stands as a flagship initiative of the NTU ECDS Sub-club, in collaboration with the NUS DSE Student Committee. More than a competition, it is a platform that transforms data and economic theory into real-world insights — challenging participants to think deeper, analyse sharper, and solve smarter.

SSS Students Excel at APRU Tech Policy Hackathon 2025

Psychology students Dustie Tang and Fahmy Fadzil were part of the NTU team that secured Second Prize at the APRU Tech Policy Hackathon 2025 in Bangkok.

Together with teammates from NTU School of Biological Sciences, they developed BankEasy, an AI-powered solution designed to improve financial inclusion for unbanked communities in the Philippines through accessible financial education and support in local languages.

The hackathon brought together students from across the Asia-Pacific region to create policy-driven AI solutions addressing real-world challenges. NTU teams also won First Prize and an Honourable Mention, showcasing the University's strength in interdisciplinary innovation and social impact.
