Project Goody 2 Shoes (Part 1): Sneakers Art Jamming Workshop

On 15 November 2025, the SSS community completed Part 1 of the Project Goody 2 Shoes initiative, the Sneakers Art Jamming Workshop! Alumni, students, and staff came together to reconnect, unleash their creativity, and transform plain sneakers into unique masterpieces. The event featured a fun, friendly competition that really upped the creative stakes! All the vital funds raised during this session go straight to the SPEED Programme in December 2025, directly helping underprivileged children get the sports gear they need.

New SSS Alumni Welcome Feast on 26 September 2025

On 26 September 2025, the Class of 2025 officially transitioned to alumni with a special celebration chosen by the class themselves! The winning theme was the Dinner Buffet Extravaganza, held at The Landmark Restaurant, Village Hotel Bugis. Our newest alumni came together for an enjoyable evening. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to catch up, share their achievements, and officially kick off their journey as part of the SSS alumni community. The gathering featured good food and great company, making it a memorable start to their next chapter.

Captain America Movie Screening on 15 February 2025

At 3 PM on 15 February 2025, SSS alumni and their partners came together at Golden Village Suntec City for an exclusive screening of Captain America. Organized in collaboration between NTU's School of Social Sciences and School of Humanities, this event offered a unique opportunity to enjoy the highly anticipated action-packed film, which premiered on 14 February 2025, in a private movie hall alongside fellow alma mater schoolmates.

Class of 2024: Reunion on 5 February 2025

We invited the SSS Class of 2024 graduates to vote for their preferred event, with three exciting options: Starlit Soiree in the Green, Riverside Revelry: Clarke Quay Edition, and Dining with a Bay View. The winning event was Dining with a Bay View, held at Marina Food Hall (formerly known as Overeat). To reward early voters, the first 20 who selected the winning event enjoyed a 90% discount and paid just $6. Meanwhile, the first 20 voters who chose the two runner-up events received a 70% discount and paid $17. The rest of the cohort enjoyed a 40% discount, with tickets at $33. Graduates also had the option to bring their partners, who received a special rate of $39. It was a fantastic evening on 5 February 2025, filled with delicious food, laughter, and great company as we reunited to celebrate the festive season with the SSS 2024 graduates. We look forward to more gatherings like this in the future!

Hands-on Ice Cream Workshop +Ice Cream Buffet

In addition to enhancing your understanding of ice cream, today's workshop provided an opportunity to form connections with alumni from the School of Humanities. The event, held on Saturday, January 27, seamlessly blended education and indulgence at the Udders A-Moo-Zing Ice Cream Workshop! Participants immersed themselves in the intricacies of different ice cream varieties, weighed the pros and cons of home ice cream machines, and discovered the art of making homemade ice cream using easily accessible equipment.

SSS Alumni New Year Dinner Buffet with a Heart for the Elderly - 26 January 2024 (Friday) Yesterday, we came together in a festive gathering where familiar faces intermingled with new connections, all sharing a common commitment to create a positive impact on our community in the coming year. The occasion served as a launching pad for SSS@NTU to garner support for its sister initiative—a community outreach program. The generous contributions collected will be dedicated to the upcoming SSS@NTU Lunar New Year Community Dinner for the Elderly, set to take place in February 2024 at Boon Lay Community Centre. Cheers to the SSS@NTU family for more initiatives focused on engaging with and uplifting our community!
