Product/Proposal: FirstLight is an offline-first maternal and child health platform designed for low-resource settings, featuring pregnancy tracking, vaccination schedules, nutrition logging and health summaries.
Description: FirstLight is designed to provide structured and reliable health guidance in low-resource settings, where limited connectivity can make access to essential healthcare information challenging. The platform brings together pregnancy tracking, vaccination schedules, nutrition logging and health summaries, helping frontline workers and caregivers monitor maternal and child health more effectively. By prioritising offline accessibility, FirstLight aims to ensure that critical health information remains available even in areas with unreliable or limited internet connectivity.
The project received an Honorable Mention at the PresentMe App Hackathon, recognising its potential to address an important global health challenge. The PresentMe App Subscription will support the team's continued development and presentation of the project.
