About the competition: The Dell InnovateDash is a preliminary Intra-school competition leading up to the Dell InnovateFest; where the winner will proceed to compete as a finalist in Dell InnovateFest representing their respective Institute of Higher Learning.

Product/Proposal: The team designed AI-powered social media monitoring system for social workers to detect youth distress signals at scale.

Description: The team built an end-to-end solution comprising a Chrome Extension for automated Instagram story monitoring, an extraction pipeline using OCR and Whisper for speech, an LLM-based distress scoring engine, a worker dashboard for actionable insights, and a youth-facing chatbot for after-hours support — built to help social workers at Singapore Children's Society identify at-risk youths more efficiently and without compromising user privacy.
