Some points to take note:

  1. This is a general grant call focusing on broad areas under MOE priority research foci and NIE OER 4th Tranche Research Programmes.
  2. The ERFP and MOE TRF have distinct objectives; the same proposal should NOT be submitted to both schemes.
  3. Specific requirements for Programmatic proposals
    1. A Co-Lead PI is mandatory for the overall proposal.
    2. For each sub-project within a programmatic proposal, it is compulsory to have a Project Co-PI who is from the same IHL as the Project PI.
    3. Please see Page 18 of the ‘28RFP ERFP Administrative Guidelines.pdf’ for the structure of a programmatic proposal.
    4. No additional sub-projects can be added after proposal submission; emphasis on how sub-projects is linked and/or work together for greater synergy
    5. 20% overhead must be included as part of the budget request.
