Despite a tough job market last year, 9 in 10 of our graduates secured employment within 6 months of leaving NTU, earning a mean gross monthly salary of $4,812. That’s because our graduates are agile and adept problem solvers who can feel comfortable thinking outside the box to innovate.
Among our 331,000 strong alumni community, we are proud to count notable alumni such as Intel CEO Tan Lip-Bu, Singapore's Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli, renowned singer-songwriter Stefanie Sun, Shiseido Asia Pacific President & CEO Nicole Tan, among many others.

Because we prepare you for your career from the day you join
At NTU, we know what employers want. This allows us to build industry-relevant experience into our programmes, so that by the time you graduate, you will have had the chance to accumulate extensive industry experience through your credit-bearing internship, programme-related practicals as well as placements with potential employers – so that you can hit the ground running.
FOUNDATION: An NTU education incorporates a scaffolded, compulsory career-readiness programme
From Year 1
Our distinctive interdisciplinary core curriculum includes a career-foundational course that prompts you to identify your values, career interests, personality traits and skills. As part of the course, you attend two small-group coaching clinics with a dedicated career coach, who will continue to provide ongoing career guidance and support throughout your time with us — a unique benefit.
From Year 2
Every year, 6,000 NTU students from all disciplines embark on credit-bearing internships, spending between 10 and 24 weeks on a placement in Singapore or abroad. Some even opt to further integrate the two by pursuing a work-study degree programme.
From Year 3
To set you up for success, we are launching a brand new career accelerator course for final-year students. In addition, during your third and fourth years, we support you in your job search through corporate mentorship programmes with leading employers. We also have a team of dedicated Industry Relations Consultants who can provide a wealth of industry-specific guidance and insights to enhance your job search. And our support doesn't stop at graduation: our Career & Attachment Office (CAO) continues to help you for a year after you graduate.
