Education and research in the College of Science (CoS) spans the domains of biology, chemistry, earth & environmental sciences, mathematics, and physics. Unique interdisciplinary programmes such as the Bachelor of Science in Economics and Data Sciences, and Double Major Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematical Sciences leverage NTU’s strengths in physics, mathematics, engineering, and social sciences, to make new discoveries for the benefit of humanity. The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. The School, which offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes, is named after local philanthropist Tan Sri Dato Lee Kong Chian. Established in 2010, LKCMedicine aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. Graduates from the five-year undergraduate medical degree programme will have a strong understanding of the scientific basis of medicine, with an emphasis on technology, data science and the humanities. The NTU MBBS programme has been recently enhanced to include themes like precision medicine and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, with an expanded scope in the medical humanities.

Consistently ranked among the world’s premier business schools, Nanyang Business School (NBS) nurtures leaders from around the world by employing innovative pedagogy that melds rigorous academic theory with real-world business practice. Drawing on NTU’s academic and research strengths, NBS provides enriching opportunities for interdisciplinary study. The school offers one of the world’s top 50 MBA programmes and three-year direct Honours degree programmes in Accountancy and Business. NBS is the first business school in Singapore, and the third in Asia, to be accredited by both the European Quality Improvement System and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

The National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore, is the national teacher education institute and an integral part of the nation’s education system. The institute plays a key role in the preparation of teachers and in the provision of teacher professional and school leadership development programmes.

The NIE, a multidisciplinary university institute that offers undergraduate and graduate education programmes in diverse academic disciplines, is committed to empowering students with the essential skills, knowledge, and mindset to analyse, tackle, and resolve challenges in various career pathways, both within and beyond the realm of education.
