We’re here for you

We are dedicated to ensuring that a university education remains accessible and inclusive, no matter your personal circumstances. We have a range of assistance schemes so that 100% of every student’s demonstrated financial need is met.

These include loans, bursaries and subsidies to cover tuition fees, living costs and miscellaneous expenses. As everyone’s personal circumstances are different, we encourage you to reach out to our Associate Chair (Students) to learn more about the financial aid options available, or the Financial Aid Office for clarification on the various financial aid schemes and the application processes. In addition, as part of our commitment to affordability, we have introduced two unique aid schemes:

Spotlight: Two aid schemes unique to NTU

NTU enhanced financial aid scheme: 100% tuition fee coverage

We have created a unique scheme to support Singaporean undergraduates studying full-time whose household income places them in the two lowest income brackets. If your household income is no more than S$1,375 per capita, we will ensure 100% of your tuition fees is covered. In addition, if you are in the lowest income tier, we will offer you an additional S$3,000 living allowance. Click here to read more.

S$10,000 NTU Opportunity Grant for non-academic activities

The NTU Opportunity Grant enables more than 400 freshmen from high-need families to pursue opportunities for community, leadership and personal growth every year. Through the grant, we provide up to S$10,000 to fund non-academic activities like overseas exchanges or campus stays.
