This university is ‘technological’, but its communications school is Asia’s best for the third year running

NTU Singapore has emerged first in Asia for its Communication & Media Studies, according to the latest QS University Rankings. The University’s communication studies programme has been leading the pack in Asia for the past three years. The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information is home to renowned faculty, including Prof Ang Peng Hwa, the first Asian to be elected to the prestigious International Communication Association (ICA); Prof Kwan Min Lee, former vice president at Samsung; Prof May Lwin, who chairs WKWSCI; Prof Richard Seyler Ling, who chairs the mobile communication group at ICA; and Prof Shirley Ho, editor of journal Environmental Conservation. Also mentioned is Asst Prof Chen Lou, whose research focuses on consumer psychology and advertising effects
