Survey: More using emojis to communicate

In conjunction with World Emoji Day on July 17, Adobe surveyed 1,000 Americans aged 16 to 73 for the first time on their use of emojis. Asst Prof Liew Kai Khiun from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information said that emojis can ‘soften’ communication and are easier to get the message across than words.
